About Weekend Class
Program Overview
Our program offers a high-quality learning experience with several key features:

Personalized Attention: We maintain small class sizes, allowing our experienced teachers to provide focused, individual attention to each child.

Effective Curriculum: The curriculum utilizes a blend of structured lessons, interactive activities, and engaging cultural content to ensure effective learning.

Skill-Level Tailoring: Classes are carefully tailored to accommodate various skill levels, ranging from foundational Pinyin to more advanced conversation.

Balanced Proficiency Focus: We concentrate on developing all four essential language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—to help students build practical and well-rounded Chinese proficiency.
Weekend Class - Sunday

Full Session Dates：September 13, 2026-June 13, 2027

Session 1: Beginner Chinese

Time: Sundays, 2:00–3:30 PM
Designed for students with little or no prior experience learning Chinese.

Session 2: Beginning Chinese-Next Level
-
Time: Sundays, 4:15–5:45 PM
Designed for students who can already understand and speak some Chinese and would like to develop their language skills in a more structured and systematic way.

Tuition: $2025 for 27 sessions

The tuition is calculated at $75 per session, with scheduled school breaks and holiday weekends excluded. I based the calculation on the MPCSD 2026–27 instructional calendar, including Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving break, winter break, Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, midwinter break, spring break, and Memorial Day weekend.

Xu Xiaojun
Leading Chinese teacher
徐晓军，毕业于浙江师范大学学前教育 专业，具有国内高级教师职称。在国内公立学校从教35年，其中25年负责教学管理工作，具有丰富的课程设计、教学研究及活动组织经验。
2019年移居美国，至今在湾区开展一线中文教育工作已七年。在实践教学中，她积极融合中美教育理念，坚持以学生为本，因材施教，注重孩子的语言能力、学习兴趣培养和综合素养。
徐老师设计的中文课堂将识字、阅读、艺术和游戏有机结合，让孩子们在轻松愉快的氛围中学习中文，深受孩子们的喜爱，也赢得了家长们的信任与认可。
她热爱教育事业，热爱孩子，以敏锐的教育洞察力和精准的专业素养，愿用专业、快乐耐心和爱心，陪伴每一个孩子学中文，自信成长。
Dan Wu
Leading Chinese teacher
With more than twenty years of teaching experience, Dan comes to the classroom with patience and a love for working with young students. Dan came to the U.S. after having taught for nine years at Beijing Foreign Studies University-the top language instruction university in China. Since 2015 she has taught Chinese to K-12 students, as well as AP Chinese courses. She received a Master’s degree in Education from the University of San Francisco and holds a Chinese Middle School Teaching Credential and two California Single-Subject Credentials in Mandarin and ELD.
